Hello everyone,
My name is Jessy, I am 22 years old and I'm from Fort Worth, Texas. I'm Catholic, but I am well aware that there are other forces within the world and I have always been intrigued by Wiccan, Pagan and Magic in general. Until recently, I had no idea that contacting fairies or fae was possible. I had always felt they were real, just unseen.
Since I was very young, there were always small and harmless incidents that would happen around me. Blinds closing, doors slamming shut, things being thrown off the shelf, the feeling of being followed and whenever the moon was full I felt as though there was something pulling me outside. The woods were always calling me. I felt a certain connection to trees and swamps and water.
Recently, the feeling of being followed, watched and called grew so strong I could barely breathe. So I took to the internet, hoping that I might find some sort of explanation when I happened to find this forum and Eelkat's thread on how to contact Fairies and Faeries. Her explanation led to me believe that perhaps I was being called by something. I figured it might be a Faery, since I felt more drawn to the woods at night.
Last night was the full moon (tonight is as well, I believe. It's the Harvest Moon, from what I heard) I went outside to the man-made wooded area in my neighborhood. There's a walkway amongst the trees that crosses through a small "pond" that is more like a swamp. I went down there sometime after midnight, after reading Eelkat's thread, with a bowl of milk sweetened with honey and some rose petals from my garden. I walked there, scared to death. I had never done anything like that before, the closer I got to a certain tree, the more I felt I was being watched. It felt as though there was something just waiting for me. I grounded myself by imagining I was thick green ivy attached to a large, old oak tree from my childhood. With that image, I spoke outloud to the Fae.
After I spoke for a few minutes, there was a noise that spooked me, so I left the bowl of milk at the tree and went home.
I'm planning to go back tonight, I'm going to leave another gift. Though I am afraid, I am very curious as to why I have been called--if I have been called in the first place.
Are there any opinions or suggestions as to what I should do? How I should go about speaking with this Fae?
Thank you for reading this.
